A: Husband B: Wife
Listen to activity A: Let’s go to Niagara Falls this weekend for Canada Day.
B: Great idea, let’s go! We need to get a good
[?] because we’ve never been to the Falls before.
A: The
[?] place gave me a map of Southern Ontario, which includes the Niagara Region.
B: Let’s look at the map.
A: Hmm, here’s Toronto, and here’s Niagara Falls.
A: We’ll take the Queen Elizabeth Way Westbound to the QEW Niagara. We’ll stop at a few
[?] along the way.
B: We could visit Niagara on the Lake. There are many
[?] and fruit stands along the side roads.
A: That’s a great idea. We could pick up some fruits and vegetables and have a
[?] by the Niagara Parkway in Niagara on the Lake.
B: That sounds like fun. I’d like to have a picnic by Lake Ontario.
A: We should try to get to Niagara Falls by mid-afternoon.
B: I want to take the
[?] tour called, ‘Maid of the Mist’. It goes right
[?] the Falls and the mist rains all over you.
A: I’d love to do that too! I’ve seen a
[?] , and the tourists all have raincoats on while they’re in the boat. It looks like fun.
B: Don’t
[?] the camera. I want to take lots of pictures of the falls.
A: I won’t forget. I hope we see a
[?] at Niagara Falls.
B: I’m looking forward to the
[?] at night.
A: What time should we
[?] tomorrow?
B: We should leave right after
[?] , say 9:00 am because there will be heavy traffic on the highway.
A: Sounds good. Let’s get everything ready tonight; the camera, the map,
[?] , sunscreen, and some
[?] .
B: I think that’s everything then. We just need to stop at the
[?] tomorrow morning.
